The name Australia is derived from the Latin word Australis, meaning ''southern''. Legends of the unknown land of the south. Australia is the worlds smallest continent, it is in the southern hemisphere, and borders both India ocean and the Pacific ocean. The Australian mainland has been inhabited for more than 42,000 years by Indigenous Australians.

The neighbouring countries are Indonesia, East Timor, and Papua New Guinea to the north, the Solomon island, Vanuatu and New Caledonia, to the north east, and New Zealand to the south east.

Australia is advanced and industrialized country. It has many international comparisons of national performance such as economic freedom,public education,and quality of life and protection.

Australia also has numerous theme parks such as Luna Park, (originally Luna Park Milsons Point, also known as Sydney's Luna Park) It is located at Milsons Point, on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour. This originally operated under the name of Harbourside of Amusement Park before resuming the Luna Park name. It is also one of the two amusement park of the world that are protected by government legeslation.

Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales, it is also the largest city of Australia also know as the Harbor City. Sydney is surrounded by many tourist attraction like the well known Sydney opera house, Harbor bridge, the beautiful Watson bay, Circular quay, Luna park and the Finger Wharf.

ANZAC war memorial

The memorable Anzac war way back in the year 1914 where the Australian fought against Turkish during World war I. The building was built as a Memorial to the first world war's Australian Imperial Force, it was completed in 1934.
